Description
Robotic hands have applications in medicine and industry. In this workshop you will explore the world of industrial robotics by building a motorised, mechanical hand that can be remotely controlled using your own hand by wearing a sensor-covered glove.
You will:
- Build a motorised robotic hand
- Add sensors to a glove
- Write code to send the sensor readings wirelessly to the robot hand.
- Write code to move the fingers on the hand using motors.
The workshop is based around the BBC Microbit and uses block-based coding to make it accessible to beginners and more experienced programmers.
